Each of these protect against a defined level of threat, such as
handgun threats, rifle threats, and armor piercing threats. The
graphic above depicts the ammunition that each SMA armoring level
protects against.
Our proprietary ballistic data is available for your review upon
request. This data, which defines our protection levels by bullet
type and composition, bullet velocity, impact angle, and ability
to withstand multiple hits, has been independently and rigorously
tested by H.P. White Laboratories and the University of Dayton Research
Institute Impact Physics Laboratory to ensure your maximum protection.
